IMPORTANT NOTICE :: December 16, 2009 RE: Norton Internet Security 2010... The '2010' edition of Norton Internet Security is "blocking" initialization/opening of the original SQLite3.dll file (dated 12/19/2005), which was used as the database 'engine' for *Car Trak v4.0 thru 4.5* and *VideoTrak v2.0 thru 2.1. If the application launches, displays it's opening "splash screen" followed by a 'Database Error' window that reads... Main::InitLib - Unable to initialize SQLite3.dll database engine: General Error-Couldn't open 'sqlite3.dll' (You may need to reinstall the program.) ... it indicates that the NIS 2010 problem is present on your system (assuming that the sqlite3.dll IS present in your installed program folder). Symantec has been contacted and acknowleged the issue is with their 2010 edition. (At this time it is unknown when or if they will fix this problem.) Existing users experiencing this problem should install the latest upgrade patch for Car Trak (v4.6 or higher) -OR- contact the author for a VideoTrak v2 'fix.'*
